think you could do a tutorial series on designing sci-fi stuff? clothes, weaponry, machinery. I really love your style theres a good balance of complexity and simplicity in it.

I dont know how you managed that, but you created something I had in mind for so many years with every fricking detail. Its like my other me in a spacey-fantasey world. I even have the hair dyed like this irl!

Well that's pretty cool, glad you found your alternate self here!
And grats on the hair =) That's definitely my favourite hairstyle that i've drawn in a while.

I know I'm missing the point, but how would one wield that weapon? It looks like it would be incredibly awkward, and the maintenance would be nuts, trying to keep it clean and running... And the 'bayonet' looks like it'd slice you more than any enemy. There's not even a mount or anything to prop the weapon up, it just seems impractical.
I mean it's a great drawing, don't get me wrong, but that woman needs to sort out her weapon priorities!

I talk about the whole oversized weapon issue a little bit in that video in the description, but yeah you make a fair point. Only if you assume a level of technology similar to our time right now though. I mean this is fiction, just have fun with your imagination! For example : the rifle is equipped with an antigrav generator and that round part houses a gyroscopic stabilizer making it very light and easy to wield. The generator can be set to pulse and pulverize any debris or dirt, making it self cleaning. The blade is a high frequency micro-oscillating blade, but nano machines that tune to that oscillation frequency have been woven into the fabric of her gloves, making it impossible for her to cut through them with this particular blade.
Now that's all random stuff i just made up =) but still perfectly valid in a fictional universe.

Well yes, you have a point, but it's just my sense of humour to think about practicality when practicality is not relevant.
Seriously, after you've designed some crazy over-the-top weapon, stop and think about how it would be maintained. I'm not suggesting to change designs, I'm just saying it might add character to acknowledge the impracticality of such a weapon within whatever universe these drawings take place.
I wonder if this lady would put up with the probably tedious process of running such a weapon top notch, or let it slowly break down and improvise when certain functions inevitably stop working properly.
Just something to think about, depending on your sense of humour...

Don't know what BB was thinking , but in my eyes , the blade seems a detachable in order to make use of it in close-combat . Nevertheless , do not forget that it does not need to make perfect sense and its what the artist thinks and wants to make :D . Lastly , maybe it can be a "transformer" weapon which can be broken down completely to fit the uses of the situation and with it being made from some special metal mix making it extremely light in order to carry it easily . Not defending BB but just defending fantasy art in general :D . Either way Great Job , really great.

Oh no, I didn't mean to imply I dislike the design, or other over the top fantasy designs, quite the opposite.
I was just joking about how, in my sense of humour I like to imagine how difficult certain fantasy designs would be to wield. Though I do sincerely wish artists would acknowledge how crazy some designs are, by using their impracticality to add character, both to the weapon, and the wielder. You know what I mean?

i completely understand because i have also believed this , however when its an illustration we do not know the story behind the character designed :D and details like if the weapon is detachable or made from some strange material . But if they strive for reality and we see a huge buster sword which cannot be lifted or even used in battle then yeah there should be a problem there :D
